With just eight guestrooms, Mandarin’s
atmosphere is delightfully intimate and personal, and whilst the
accommodation has been designed on a grand scale, the ambience is
utterly relaxed, deliberately eschewing any formality.
Your resident hosts – including Pacha, the
friendly dog and self-appointed quality controller, entertainer and
lifeguard – go out of their way to make guests feel at home and to
help them get the most out of their stay.
Days get off to a good start with a wholesome
breakfast (which can be served in your room at no extra cost if
preferred) including homemade jams and eggs from Mandarin’s own
chickens cooked to order.
The five course evening meals, focusing on
traditional recipes and fresh local produce and served in comfort
and style, really are an event that guests enjoy lingering over. The
pre-booked half-board option offers particularly good value.
